GSE stepping up its transparency initiative

As of today, GSE has implemented the first of the two-step improvement of the GSE Aggregated Stock Inventory – the organization’s gas storage transparency scheme. The new enhancement, announced by GSE at the Madrid Forum in May 2009, where it was received positively by stakeholders, consists in the increase of the publication frequency from weekly to daily and the extension of the platform to add information on gas inflows and outflows to stock level data. The publication will take place at 18:00 CET each day starting 1 October and will continue to cover the current 8 gas trading hub areas. It will also include graphical representation of the data.
